I already have a 4-year degree in history (not sure if that even matters) and I’m looking to change from my exciting middle-management career to nursing. With the economy like it is I would be happy to get work anywhere but I really want to work with people who treat patients holisticly. Are there nursing schools that prepare you for this type of work? Do I have to be an RN first and then take extra classes? Are people even looking for this type of nurse?
